Information - surveys and surveyors

We recommend that you obtain a marine survey prior to completing the purchase of a vessel. Insurance companies and banks will often require a marine survey to establish condition and fair market value for financing and/or underwriting the vessel. However, the most important reason to survey your vessel is for the safety of the passengers and crew.

You may also want to have the engine professionally tested. For your convenience, we have listed the mechanics available for engine testing.
